I’ve always had wonderful service when I come to this coffee shop. The workers are very welcoming and understanding when it comes to various orders and questions. Especially the cashiers. I’m not sure where another reviewer got a “Barnstable attitude” from but to each their own. Wonderful coffee shop to be in, I very much recommend.

Casual coffee place in the nice Oakhurst neighborhood. Always friendly staff, always good coffee. Little something missing from the vibe but still a nice place to have a coffee with friends. Limited but good pastries and very limited refrigerated food options.

I always order a shot of espresso over ice. Super simple. Today I visited this place and was met with that cliche stuck up Barnstable attitude. It was so odd. The person who helped me at the register said "I can give you the shot and a cup of ice and you can pour it yourself" I kindly said "okay" but thought it was odd. Then she went to the barista and told her my drink. The barista rolled her eyes and they snickered. Then when I was handed my drink the barista held up the shot and the cup and poured it right as she was handing it to me making it just so awkward. I dont know why but this stuck up attitude in coffee shops is just so sad. Good espresso and cookie though. Edit 1/6/26 Came and got my iced espresso and was met with a friendly and nice Barista. My order didnt shock them!

I had a cortado. It was good. They also have sandwiches, other snacks and $5 beer and wine. It's on the corner in downtown Oakhurst with good outside seating for people watching if that's your thing.

This place is a hidden gem in Decatur! We stopped in for an Americano and an iced latte, —smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The vibe is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who clearly know their craft. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or settling in to chill, Oakview Coffee delivers.

Great coffee shop! It’s very cozy inside and there’s a lot of seating inside. They have local art for sale inside as well! The coffee comes out quick and it’s really good. Parking is a bit limited but there’s lots around the area. I would definitely go back and try more coffees!

The squirrel ain’t no joke!!! Oakhurst has a gem of a coffee house that's truly uplifting. They have a great latte blend and wonderful staff that make your day brighter. Just learned about Joey coffee…they don’t serve it and I have to find it.

Serving coffee on this corner since 1997, they clearly know what they’re doing — and it shows. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The full menu offers excellent coffee, tea, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, plus beer and wine. Open early, it’s perfect for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxed afternoon. Working remotely, all set here. Clean bathroom. 🚽 😁 Take whole beans to go as well from their selection of bagged coffee. You’ll find bar seating, comfy couches, chairs, two-top tables, and even outdoor seating. The pastries are sometimes stale after 3, but please check out their speciality drinks! Every month they come up with some creative names for drinks that matches the next holiday! The staff is so nice and friendly!

Situated in the perfect corner of it all, it is clear to see that Oakview has brought the community together. This enormous coffee shop sits multiple tiers above a simple walk-in/walk-out café, for this venue had a line of community members out the door from the moment I walked in. Inside, there were parents doing homework at the tables with their kids, people catching up over books, and a few others working on their laptops. Not to mention, Harmony Park and the Oakhurst Farmer’s Market (on Saturdays) are across the street as well. The food came out quickly after I ordered, and the employees were so kind and coordinated in their efforts. The Almond Croissant had a lovely amount of marzipan inside with great textural contrasts among the rich pastry, almond topping, and marzipan filling. Overall, I love this place. What’s not to like, knowing you’ll get objectively good food paired with such a beautiful experience? This comforting locale truly is a brightest star near the heart of Atlanta.
